Hans-Jörg Tiede

I am a senior fellow at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, where I conduct survey research on academic freedom, tenure, and shared governance. I have also published about the history of academic freedom in the United States and of the American Association of University Professors. I was previously professor of computer science at Illinois Wesleyan University and conducted research on theoretical computational linguistics and applied logic.
