Abstract

Supports that students that have social emotional learning promotes a better classroom environment, resolves bullying, and students' overall behavior. To go along with this theory, Jones (2017) states that social and emotional skills are related to positive academic, social, and mental health outcomes among students. In this teacher research, I explore how social emotional learning, mainly in group circles, can help behavior as well as understanding between students. A group circle is a small group of students discussing the same text (2019). This study will benefit educators with the data showing that students react positively to social emotional learning thus making the learning process easier and more entertaining for the students.
